Nonchalance nace unos cinco años
atrás como resultado de la unión de cuatro músicos vallisoletanos que desde
hace unos cuantos años ya, han formado parte de diferentes bandas, han
interpretado diversos estilos musicales y, en definitiva, han ido coincidiendo
aquí y allá con el paso del tiempo.
Su música, como no podía ser de otra
manera, es fruto de esta mezcla de estilos e influencias: rock, pop, folk, canción
de autor… Su propuesta musical pretende interrelacionar música y poesía, usando
textos de diferentes poetas americanos del siglo XX, en una serie de canciones que pretenden, sobre todo, transmitir
sentimientos y escapar de encasillamientos y etiquetas.
Nonchalance was
born about five years back as a result of the union of four musicians from
Valladolid (Spain) who have, for quite a few years, taken part in several bands, have
performed different music styles and, in short, have been running into one
another here and there over time.
Their music, it
couldn't be otherwise, is the result of this mixture of styles and influences:
rock, pop, folk, singer-songwriter… Their music proposal aims to interrelate
music and poetry, using texts of various 20th century American
poets, in a series of songs that intend, above all, to convey emotions and
elude labels and tags.
